MEET

ANDREW B.

Andrew Beamon is a leadership and organizational development consultant with close to 20 years of experience in the non-profit and corporate sector, where he has helped organizations build and improve their employee engagement, corporate citizenship, and diversity, equity, & inclusion strategies and programs.

Andrew is currently the founder and CEO of AB Consulting, and the author of the Amazon best-seller, “From Promises To Progress: A leadership guide to help organizations avoid common mishaps and bring their racial equity aspirations to life.”

He began his career as a management consultant before transitioning to nonprofit field operations, and eventually, a senior leader for a global financial institution’s U.S. corporate citizenship team.

Andrew’s mission is to help organizations bring their values and purpose to life through meaningful and intentional actions.  He has shared his work with many audiences, including The Black Executive Perspective podcast, National Association of Black Accountants of Connecticut, Vital Voices, NAACP National Convention, and the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Leadership Conference.

Andrew received his bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in hospitality and tourism administration from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina. He received his Master’s degree in organizational psychology from the University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut, and he has completed Georgetown's Strategic Diversity & Inclusion Management Executive Certification and Boston College's Certification in Strategic Corporate Citizenship Management.
